In our announcement titled "Free Repair for VAIO Fit 11A Personal Computer," on May 15, 2014, we advised that we had started repairing PCs, and still continue repairing today. We already have accepted repair request of many customers, but for customers who have one or more of the affected model and have not contact the hotline yet, please contact the hotline listed below

In our announcement titled "Free Repair Program for VAIO Fit 11A Personal Computer," on April 24, 2014, we advised that Sony would start replacing third-party manufactured battery packs from May 19, 2014, but we have completed preparations and are able to start repairing PCs as of today. For customers who have one or more of the affected models and have not had their PC collected, please contact the hotline listed below.

This is an update to our announcement titled "Request to Stop Using VAIO Fit 11A Personal Computer" on April 11, 2014, in which we advised that we were planning to identify those affected VAIO Fit 11A PCs by serial numbers, and to develop a program either to repair or replace them at no charge or to refund the purchase price for the affected PCs.
As safety is our primary concern we again request that if you have one or more of the VAIO Fit 11A PC models listed below, please immediately discontinue using it, shut down, and unplug the PC.
We will work with our supplier to start replacing the third-party manufactured battery packs from May 19, 2014. If you have one or more of the affected models listed below and reside in Japan, please contact Sony at 0120-307-009 to arrange for Sony to collect your PC.
For any customers who do not wish to participate in the repair program listed above, please contact the hotline (0120-307-009) by July 31, 2014. We will accept returns and offer full refunds for the affected PCs.
