"For the Next Generation" is the key theme of Sony's global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, as well as an important objective since its foundation by Masaru Ibuka. Among our initiatives to support the development of the next generation is the Sony Science Program, in which Sony engineers and other employees serve as instructors in workshops for children. In these interactive sessions, the students learn about science and technology by doing hands-on experiments related to Sony products and services. In this video, CSR Group Senior Manager Mitsu Shippee goes to the Sony ExploraScience workshop in Odaiba, Tokyo. She talks to Sony employees involved in the workshop and gets their thoughts on the unique contributions Sony can make to science education.
