Sony Corporation Action Plan
The following action plan serves to maximize employees' skills and promote an environment for career development while understanding parental needs and responsivities in care of their children in support of the fostering of the next generation.
Period of Plan
April 1, 2020 - March 31, 2025 (5 years)
Goal 1: Assess workplace environment to promote improvements that will enable employees to take time off and implement work-style review initiatives.
Promote the availability of annual paid leave to increase the average annual leave taken to 16 days or more.
Goal 2: Improve workplace environment for both men and women to promote work and childcare balance
Conduct diversity management seminars for management.
Conduct informational seminars to encourage paternity leave.
Provide education for employees who have recently returned from childcare leave.
Goal 3: Introduce measures within the business to support infertility and treatment opportunities
1st half of FY2020
Expand options in support of infertility treatments (holiday system, leave system, and cost subsidy system).
Provide information for employees to promote understanding in options supporting and addressing infertility.
