Copy from Handycam® Camcorder

Copy movies directly from your Handycam® without PC

Direct Copy from Handycam®, both 2D and 3D video

You can easily store your video from Handycam® to the External Hard Drive just by connecting with the supplied USB cable and USB adapter cable.
Even 3D video, as well as 2D video can be stored on the External Hard Drive through ”Direct Copy“ function.


*When using Direct Copy, Handycam® should be connected to AC power.
*Connection via USB-hub is not supported.

Enjoy 2D and 3D video on your television

For 2D photos and video stored on the External Hard Drive, you can view them on a large screen via PlayStaion®3.
For 3D video, you can play back via a 3D movie-compatible Handycam®.


*PlayStation®3 and Handycam® require FAT32 formatted hard drive.
  The External Hard Drive is pre-formatted to FAT32.

Edit video with your PC

You can edit video stored on the External Hard Drive, by using Picture "PlayMemories Home" software only for Windows® installed on your PC.


*Lite version is supplied with HandycamŽ. Please update it for editing.
