Replay the Music Saved on Your Memory Stick
You can replay the music saved on your Memory Stick™ using the PS3®.*

*It's possible to take the music file, which you can replayed using PSP®, and replay it all on your PS3®

PS3® with a Memory Stick™ Slot PS3® without a Memory Stick™ slot

Insert a Memory Stick™ into the slot.

Connect PSP® via a USB cable and select [USB Connection].

Select [Music] from the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar).

Select [PSP®] under [Music] on the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar).

Select the music file you want to listen and press the X button.

View Still Images on a Big Screen TV

You can view the still images saved on your Memory Stick™ on a big screen TV. You'll be able to view them as a slide show, so it's like you're at a little photo exhibition!

PS3® with a Memory Stick™ Slot PS3® without a Memory Stick™ Slot

Insert a Memory Stick™ into the slot.

Connect your digital camera via a USB cable.

Select [Digital Camera Images] under [Photo] on the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar).

Select [Digital Camera*] , and then [Digital Camera Image] under [Photo] on the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar).
*Displayed only with Sony digital cameras. Digital cameras of other manufacturers display [USB Device].

Select the image you want to view and press the X button.

A Collaboration of Music and Still Images

In addition to all this, you can replay the still images and music stored on the Memory Stick™ at the same time.
Photos of your memories together with the music connected to those memories. It will bring you twice the joy!

Insert a Memory Stick™ into the slot.

Connect PSP® to PS3® via a USB cable and select [USB Connection].

Select [Memory Stick™] under [Music] on the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar).

Select [PSP®] under [Music] on the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar).

Select the music file you want to play during the slideshow.

Press the PS button of the PS3® wireless controller to display the XMB™.

Select [Memory Stick™] under [Photo] section on the XMB™.

Select [PSP®] under [Photo] on the XMB™.

Select [Digital Camera Images] and press the 7 button.

Select [Slideshow], and then [Photo Album] from the option menu.

*Please confirm that your photos are stored in the [DCIM] or [PICTURE] folder and music files in the [MUSIC] folder. PSP® supports playback of content stored in the [PICTURE] folder from system software version 2.80 or later. We recommend you to always maintain your system to use the latest version.
*Simultaneous playback is possible either when both photo and music files are stored on the PS3® hard disk drive or when one of them is stored in a Memory Stick™.
*PS3® can display data recorded in the JPEG format (DCF2.0/Exif2.21 compliant), TIFF, BMP, GIF and PNG.
Some files, however, cannot be displayed due to their data types.
