4K video shooting, how different from HD?

Recent Sony Digital imaging devices records 4K video, (Handycam, Action cam Cyber-shot and Alpha) in the XAVC S* format, with extra high-picture quality (delivers 4 times resolution than Full HD.)

*XAVC S is a format for recording 4K/HD movies that was developed for consumer usage based on the professional XAVC 4K/HD format, using MP4 container format which simplifies the handling of 4k videos.

As the size of 4K video files are larger than conventional HD video, due to delivering more resolution, stable recording of 4K video requires high-performance SD cards;

"Sony SD memory cards" fulfil this requirement.
