Terms and Conditions of Use for “Spatial Reality Display” Logo

All users of “Spatial Reality Display” Logo shall read these Terms and Conditions of Use. No users may download data of the Logo from our website or use the Logo unless they agree to these Terms and Conditions. By downloading the data of the Logo, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

  1. Purpose of Use

    To show the compatibility with a “Spatial Reality Display” developed by Sony Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Sony” including any subsidiaries of Sony Corporation) or the applicability to such “Spatial Reality Display” on the website, media and marketing materials.

  2. Logotype for Use

    “Spatial Reality Display” Logo shown below (hereinafter referred as to “Spatial Reality Display Logo”)

  3. Terms of Use

    (1) We shall use Spatial Reality Display Logo only for the purpose described above. Also, we shall delete all the data provided by Sony immediately after finishing such use.
    (2) We shall submit to Sony samples of materials (such as promotion materials and web pages) on which Spatial Reality Display Logo is to be used and follow the instructions from Sony should any correction be needed.
    (3) We shall follow any other guidelines provided by Sony with respect to the use of Spatial Reality Display Logo.
    (4) We acknowledge that Sony reserve the rights to notify us directly or indirectly to cease the use of Spatial Reality Display Logo without cause at any time and we shall immediately follow such notification.

    SONY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL SONY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THIRD PARTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE USE OF SPATIAL REALITY DISPLAY LOGO.

  5. Change of the Terms and Conditions

    We acknowledge that Sony may, in its sole discretion, change these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

We hereby agree to use Spatial Reality Display Logo under the Terms and Conditions set forth above.


Spatial Reality Display Logo Guidelines

1. About these guidelines

1.1 Objective of these guidelines

These guidelines provides rules and conditions for the usage of the “Spatial Reality Display” logo. The objective of these guidelines is to ensure the correct and consistent usage of the “Spatial Reality Display” logo by developers. As the “Spatial Reality Display” logo is the sole property of Sony Corporation, to use the logo, the developers must enter into an agreement with Sony Corporation (hereinafter “Sony”) beforehand. Any use of the “Spatial Reality Display” logo shall conform to the rules and conditions set forth in these guidelines. Developers shall follow the instruction from Sony regarding any corrections must be followed. Developers acknowledge that Sony, at its sole discretion, reserves the rights to claim to cease the use of the “Spatial Reality Display” logo without cause at any time. Developers cannot use Sony’s trademarks other than the "Spatial Reality Display" logo.

1.2 Revision or abolition of these guidelines

These guidelines shall be amended or abolished without prior notice.

2. About name and logo

2.1 Permitted use of logo

“Spatial Reality Display” logo can be used on the following items.

  1. The applications which are compatible with the Spatial Reality Display. And the web sites which provide such compatible applications.
  2. The product description panels at the demonstration/exhibition using the Spatial Reality Display

2.2 Territory of use of logo

The "Spatial Reality Display" logo may be used worldwide, except in those countries where usage of the "Spatial Reality Display" logo is prohibited by law.

2.3 “Spatial Reality Display” in local language

The “Spatial Reality Display” logo must be used universally in all regions and should not be translated into local languages.

3. Protection of trademark rights

3.1 Trademark symbol

3.1.1

When referring to the “Spatial Reality Display” in plain text in documents and/or websites, do not insert the ® or ™ symbol.

Do not use ® or ™ symbols when using the “Spatial Reality Display ” logo.

3.2 Trademark notice

“The fact that the “Spatial Reality Display” logo is a trademark of Sony Corporation shall be clearly indicated at least once when using the “Spatial Reality Display“ in logo on printed materials or websites.

Example) “Spatial Reality Display” logo is a trademark of Sony Corporation.

When it is difficult to write a trademark notice due to limited space of the materials, create a page for information on trademark on websites and provide a link or URL to that page.

4. Basic rule to the use logo

4.1 Correct form and reproduction of the logo

“Spatial Reality Display” logo shall always be displayed correctly, in the specified form. When reproducing the “Spatial Reality Display” logo, be sure to use the electronic logo data of the logo provided with the guidelines. Do not distort the logo or change its form.

Display color of the logo If possible, gradation shall be used in preference. For a flat color, ❷ is used as the primary color and ❸ is used as the accent color.

Positive and negative display Basically, the “Spatial Reality Display” logo should be reproduced using a positive display. However, negative display may also be used when it is the most appropriate visual representation or when there are limitations in reproducing the positive display.

4.2 Size specification and minimum size of the logo

When determining the size of the “Spatial Reality Display” logo, refer to the character height (H) as shown below.
