AM/FM cassette stereo with four two-way speakers: 16 cm woofers and 5 cm tweeters. At launch, the ultimate portable stereo of this kind. Its eye-catching design was memorable, with tweeters in the top corners and LR level meters in the middle. Known affectionately as "Zilbap", it became a hit product. Audio performance was enhanced by increasing the aperture ratio of the speakers and building the case to exacting specifications. Positioning the control buttons lower on the front reinforces the unit's stature as a serious audio component.
