Pocket-sized radio. The world's smallest at the time (measuring 112 x 71 x 32 mm), this radio gave Sony an opportunity to coin the word "Pocketable" in this context. It was the first full-fledged export model from Sony. An interesting feature is that the dial itself serve as the tuning mechanism. The TR-63 also features a speaker grill of punched aluminum, which reinforces the case while making the radio more attractive.
