Following the opening event at Sony´s 3D Experience Pavilion at Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg on June 8, a "Japan & Cameroon Day" event was held on June 13 (Sunday), the day before the Japan vs. Cameroon match.

During the interval, 3D footage was shown of the Argentina vs. Nigeria match held on the previous day.

The runner-up Miss Universe Japan and Miss Universe Cameroon were also in attendance to offer words of encouragement to the two teams.

At the end of the event, a 3D promo film of MISIA was unveiled. MISIA is a Sony Music Entertainment artist and her recent song "MAWARE MAWARE" was selected to be included in the official 2010 FIFA World Cup™ album "Listen Up! ". She is the only artist in the whole Asian region to be a part of the album.

Following the showing, MISIA herself appeared on stage and brought the event to a climax of excitement with a live performance of "MAWARE MAWARE", joining the Cameroonian supporters and the Japanese supporters who traveled all the way from Japan as one!
