Communicate Sony spreads the word about our conservation efforts and other programs

To protect deer, foxes, and other wildlife, some 48,500 m2 on the facility grounds are now protected as a wildlife sanctuary.

A wildlife sanctuary was set aside at the  Sony DADC plant in Pitman, New Jersey, in agreement with the state of New Jersey in 2006. Some 48,500 m2 at the plant is now protected. Forests and ponds here are home to abundant wildlife including deer, foxes, birds, and aquatic life. The Pitman Plant is committed to keeping this area as it was when the agreement was signed, and the sanctuary will be regularly audited by the state.
