Sony Corporation's Comment on Reports about Integrating
Mobile Phone Handset Businesses of Ericsson and Sony
Some Japanese media reported today (April 19,2001) that Ericsson and Sony
are in talks about integrating both companies' mobile phone handsets businesses.
Sony Corporation wishes to clarify that both companies are in talks about potential
collaboration in mobile phone handset business, but nothing specific has been decided.
