    Notice Regarding Year-End Dividend

    Sony Corporation approved, at the meeting of its Board of Directors held on May 8, 2013, the year-end dividend on shares of common stock for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013 as follows.

    1. Year-End Dividend:

    ¥12.50 (before withholding any applicable tax thereon) per share to shareholders or registered share pledgees whose names appear on the register of shareholders as of the close of March 31, 2013, Tokyo time (the “Record Date”) for the semi-annual period ended on the Record Date.

    * This payment, combined with the interim dividend in the amount of ¥12.50 per share paid in December 2012, will bring the total annual dividend for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013 to ¥25 per share.


    2. Dividend Payment Starting Date:

    June 4, 2013 (Tuesday)
