Osaifu-Keitai® Mobile Wallet Phones

FeliCa-compatible mobile phones and PHS handsets marketed in Japan by NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, SOFTBANK MOBILE and WILLCOM are generally called Osaifu-Keitai, or mobile wallet phones. As mobile wallet phones have ID and payment functions, they can be used as credit cards, membership cards, e-money cards, e-tickets, air tickets and so on.

PC with FeliCa Port

Many computer brands, including Sony’s VAIO Series, feature built-in FeliCa Ports.

Game Machine

Users of PLAYSTATION®3 can download and pay for online games through the Edy e-money system, simply by connecting a PaSoRi reader/writer to the game machine’s USB terminal.

FeliCa-compatible TV

The remote-control unit used with Sony’s BRAVIA liquid crystal TV now has a built-in FeliCa Port to provide one of the new TV applications of the broadband age. The viewer can pay for video-on-demand services with e-money such as Edy or eLIO. With this convenient payment method, viewers can enjoy video services at home. Checking payment records with Edy and recharging e-money are also possible.
