The camera uses Wi-Fi to connect with your
smartphone/tablet and links especially fast with
NFC-compatible models. Setup is as simple as
downloading the latest PlayMemories Mobile app.
Operation is easy, like a smartphone camera app.*1
The latest version of PlayMemories Mobile allows comfortable one-hand operation, including manual setting changes such as shutter speed.
Share images right away
Photos are auto-saved to camera and smartphone/tablet*2 for SNS upload. Export to smartphone apps via PlayMemories Mobile to edit and share, and also use cloud storage.
Mount on your
Using the specially provided attachment, simply mount the camera on your smartphone/tablet.*3
Enjoy added stability using a tripod. It helps you take great shots that are hard to capture hand-held, as well as selfie and group photos from camera positions at a distance.
Use mirror mode for super selfies, set up where it’s hard to see a viewfinder, take fun photos from unusual angles, and get high- and low-angle shots with optional ADP-FSK1.
Multi Camera Control
Now, you can command up to five cameras*4 at the same time with the optional Live-View Remote*5 accessory, which enables shooting angle checking and remote operation. Then, combine simultaneously shot footage taken from different angles (low, high, etc.) and focal distances (wide, telephoto, etc.). This advanced technique shows fine movie work.
