2-1. (6) Thermal Stress

  1. Operation in high temperature environments
    Note that the laser diode lifetime becomes shorter as the operating case temperature increases, and the lifetime cannot be guaranteed when used in excess of the recommended temperature conditions.
  2. Heating caused by soldering
    Note that the internal elements of laser diodes may degrade if heated excessively during soldering.
