GVIF has incorporated HDCP (High-Bandwidth Content Protection), the leading digital rights management technology adopted by major hardware manufacturers and accepted by content providers. GVIF-HDCP enables delivery of copy protected digital entertainment content for in-vehicle applications.

It is required to become an adopter of HDCP prior to using or testing GVIF-HDCP products. HDCP licensing is managed by the DCP, LLC. For more information and procedures, please contact the DCP, LLC.
