AIT-3/-2 /-1/Turbo cleaning cartridge

This cleaning cartridge is designed exclusively for AIT-1, AT-2, AIT-3, AIT-E Turbo, AIT-1 Turbo, and AIT-2 Turbo drives. The AIT drives come with a self-cleaning mechanism and thus do not require frequent cleaning. Use this cartridge when the drive's cleaning lamp is lit.

DDS and DAT72 Cleaning cartridge

This cleaning cartridge can be used in all DDS and DAT72 drives. The tape thickness has been reduced and the head wear minimized to make it particularly well-suited for the DDS3, DDS4, and DAT72 drives and enable it to provide the best head-cleaning performance possible. It will provide approximately 50 cleanings (depending on the drive). Sony recommends its use every 25 hours, although the actual cleaning frequency will vary depending on the operating environment.

The DLT Cleaning cartridge III can be used with all DLT drives. Use this tape as necessary or when the Use Cleaning Tape lamp of the drive is lit. It will provide approximately 20 cleanings.

(This tape cannot be used with the DLT VS80 drive.)

The DLT VS160 cleaning cartridge is designed for use with DLT VS160 drives and DLT-V4 drives. Use this tape as necessary, when the Use Cleaning Tape lamp of the drive is lit, or when a cleaning message appears during the use of backup software. It will provide approximately 20 cleanings.

* This tape cannot be used with the DLT IV and DLT VS80 drives.

Note: Packagings of those 2 products above are different from each other, but the cartridges/tapes inside of those packagings are just the same, and both products are available with DLTVS160 drives/ DLT-V4 drives.

Sony recommends its use every 72 hours or once a month, although the actual cleaning frequency will vary depending on the operating environment.

* This tape is designed exclusively for use with D8 drives and cannot be used with the Mammoth or VXA drives.
