Intended for discerning users, the Premini satisfies consumer tastes and needs that have traditionally not been part of the conventional mobile phone market to forge a new market. Despite the Premini's extremely compact form, the handset feels easy to use because of a tiered, sloping button layout, buttons along the edge that provide tactile feedback, and other touches.
