To create this model, the developers took on the challenge of creating the prototype for the new generation of Vaio notebooks, up-to-date and not restricted to following the existing image. Thus, this model grew out of a "hybrid" concept. What emerged was a fresh design—bold and symbolic in how it anticipates constantly evolving media and interfaces and satisfies diverse design tastes. This is a high-performance notebook, yet one that is light and compact, with better battery life. Even the Vaio logo engraved on the lid emanates a sense of character.
