Built-in wireless LAN functionality keeps people connected, something younger generations crave. In this unit, we sought a straightforward interface design. One facet of this is the "What's up" screen, which shows photo icons of registered friends. Those who are online (regardless of their means of instant messaging) are identified by a flashing symbol.
