  • Product Design MEMORY STICK

IC memory card introduced in 1998 as a new storage media. Memory Sticks resemble small sticks of chewing gum measuring 21.5 mm high, 50 mm long, and 2.8 mm thick. The design was conceived to be open and flexible, not requiring a specific format. It represents a successful new class of media. It was developed as media for recording and playback of a variety of data including images, voice files, and music.
