Portable Japanese-language word processor. Extremely compact and versatile, the "PRODUCE 100" includes a 2-inch data disk drive "PD-1." Its external printer can easily be carried along with the unit. The PJ-100 can print up to 30 characters per second on a variety of media, including rough and glossy paper, heavyweight paper (up to 1 mm thick), and transparencies. For more attractive printing, it includes an automatic "smoothing" function during enlarged printing at more than double the regular character width. In the user interface, shortcut menus give access to many operations with minimal keystrokes.
