A system comprising two ultra high-end components: a compact disc player and D/A converter (CDP-R1 and DAS-R1). The design is clean, without anything extraneous. Brushed metal, finished in champagne gold, and wood accents on both sides give the system a touch of luxury. Phase distortion from separation is eliminated by synchronization with the reference clock in the D/A converter. Operation is coordinated by dual links between the components for the sync signal exchange and data exchange.
