The image is of a column rising vertically from a stone floor, tapering into a translucent pole from which sound emerges in all directions. The radiating sound defines the space through which it propagates-like ripples produced by a stone dropped in a pond. And what better material than Lombardy marble, long employed for creating acoustic spaces in so many historic churches and salons. This harmony of material, space and sound is a reflection of the harmony among people and the things that surround them.

Visivamente questo altoparlante fisso si presenta come una colonna trasparente che si innalza verticalmente da una base di marmo. Il materiale è lo stesso utilizzato in molte chiese e palazzi per creare spazi acustici fortemente simbolici. Il suono, in continua espansione, definisce lo spazio attraverso cui si propaga. Questo altoparlante multidirezionale è un’espressione della relazione armoniosa tra le persone e le cose.
